We rebuild stunning, healthy, confident smiles with cutting-edge capabilities and world-class dentistry

Santa Rosa Dentistry and Implant Center takes great pride in providing dental care suited to diverse patients, which changes as patients’ needs evolve. Our experienced Rohnert Park dentist, Dr. Wayne Sutton, works closely with individuals from throughout our corner of northwestern California to help them avoid the need for restorative care. Many oral conditions that damage the teeth can be prevented with routine services at our office, including regular professional cleanings and oral exams. Due to Dr. Sutton’s considerable skill in reconstructive dentistry, patients with damage that cannot be resolved with root canal therapy or other means can benefit from precision surgical techniques and cutting-edge dental restorations.

Replacing teeth

Dr. Sutton has developed substantial expertise in complex cosmetic and rehabilitative cases. So, all patients can trust that their safety, health, and appearance are in exceptional hands – whether they are replacing one tooth or need to fill in a mouthful of gaps.

Traditionally, patients who lost their teeth or required extractions were left with limited options. Doing nothing is really not an option because bone loss can arise and worsen existing problems with chewing, speech, and other functions. Dental bridges and conventional dentures fill in the gaps, but they do not replicate the portions of the teeth that support healthy structure and function. Replacement teeth within traditional bridges rely on healthy neighboring teeth for support. In contrast, conventional dentures rely on suction in the mouth and products such as adhesives to hold the appliance in place.

Dr. Sutton is adept at precisely positioning dental implants in the jawbone to support replacement teeth. This form of tooth replacement is the closest thing that modern dentistry has to the design of natural teeth. Once the implant has fused to the surrounding bone, it can optimally stabilize the replacement tooth. A single tooth or crown can be “rooted” in place with one implant, while as few as four well-positioned implants can effectively support an upper or lower denture.

Dr. Sutton’s surgical prowess is complemented by our prosthodontist, Dr. Ryan Sabo. Dr. Sabo focuses on the part of the tooth that is visible above the gum line, be it a crown, bridge, or denture. His skill is employed once Dr. Sutton has placed the implants.

Options for all smiles

We appreciate that each patient is a one-of-a-kind individual with unique needs, personal preferences, lifestyles, budgets, habits, and goals. For this reason, we offer alternatives to implants and many additional services to address a wide range of dental concerns. These reconstructive options include:

  • Restorations to preserve a tooth by repairing damaged areas; for instance, tooth-colored fillings and porcelain crowns
  • Full smile makeovers, which may include a combination of restorative and cosmetic services (like professional teeth whitening and veneers)
  • Fountain of Youth® dentures that use neuromuscular dentistry techniques to support the most natural function and appearance
  • Orthodontic treatment with Invisalign® to restore a balanced smile by aligning teeth and correcting bite imbalances
  • Dental bridges with a combination of precision planning and state-of-the-art materials

Our approach to all dental services is gentle, comfortable, warm, and inviting. Dr. Sutton’s use of relaxing dental sedation complements anesthetic and tools that further support the most conservative, tissue-preserving, and painless experience possible.
